The Pacman Nebula (NGC 281) is a cosmic cloud of space gas located in the constellation Cassiopeia, a distance of 9,500 light years from earth. This nebula gets its name from the classic video game character it resembles. I imaged it from my backyard using special filters to counteract the glow of the Calgary city lights all around me.
