Lake Moraine is arguably the most beautiful spot in all of the Rockies. As the sun rises it paints the mountaintops a glowing gold that simply takes your breath away. On the way to taking this shot, I slipped on a submerged log and started my day with a refreshing dip in the glacier fed lake. Fortunately although I submerged I kept the camera above the water and took this photo while soaking wet with icy water. Worth it? Absolutely!
