Feathered Cowboy

from $35.00

Cowbirds used to follow buffalo herds, moving constantly before settlers changed the whole ecosystem.  Tending a nest isn't possible when you're always on the move though so they lay their eggs in the nests of other species in the same way cuckoos do.  Today they ride cattle and horses rather than buffalo but they still sneak their eggs into unsuspecting neighbours' nests.
